highcoast is a surfrock duo from the not-so-sunny city of Hamburg, Germany. Formed 2016 in Melbourne, Australia the cheerfully self-titled "Shit weather Beach Boys“ are carrying the ideals of Aussie surf culture into their own style.
Growing up together guitarist/vocalist Flo and drummer/vocalist Paul play tunes that sound like friendship set to music. Featuring a unique mix of laidback melodic sweetness and energetic pumping roughness, highcoast prove that their vision of sunsoaked surfrock has evolved into a distinctive and recognisable, modern yet vintage sound. The successful musical interpretation of dreamy summer times and boozy beachparty nights with a hearty portion of nostalgia creates a musical experience that is as life affirming as it is catchy.
